Introduction

Write the following sentences on the board.

    • I was going to school.
    • School will have opened.
    • You will be waiting for me in the garden.
    • You will have taken breakfast.
    • I shall be going for a walk.
    • We shall have changed the house.
    • She will be sewing her clothes.

Ask the students to identify the tense in each sentence.

Activity 1

Ask a volunteer who is a good actor to come forward.

Tell the student that it is an activity in which he/she will be

Acting / expressing his/her thought without speaking.

Situation

    • You will have washed clothes.
    • You will have dried your hands.
    • You will have dialed a number.
    • You will have talked on the phone.
    • You will have written some information.
    • You will have put the phone down.
    • You will have washed your clothes again

The student acts out the situation given above without speaking.

The rest of the class has to tell what the actor is doing. .

After every action ask students what the boy/girl is doing
