Group of Animals:
There are two groups of animals.
- Animals with backbones.
- Animals without backbones.
Difference between animals basis of their eating habits:
There are three different types of animals: herbivores, herbivores, and carnivores. Herbivores are animals that only eat plants. Carnivores are animals that only eat meat. Omnivores are animals that eat both plants and meat.

Herbivores: Food of most of the animals is grass, plants and leaves of tree. Such animals called herbivores.
Carnivores: Some animals eat flesh of other animals, such animals are called carnivores.
Omnivores: Many animals eat all types of food, such as meat and vegetables. Such animals are called omnivores.
Material / Resources
Writing board, chalk/marker, Photographs, Charts, White board, duster, Pointer etc.
Introduction
☼ Ask students about Animals
☼ Write the responses of the students on the board.
☼ Ask the students Animals difference base on their eating habits.
☼ Correct the students where required.
Development
Activity 1: ☼ Show some photographs to the students and ask them to identify the Herbivore, Carnivores and Omnivores Animals.

There are three different types of animals: herbivores, herbivores, and carnivores. Herbivores are animals that only eat plants. Carnivores are animals that only eat meat. Omnivores are animals that eat both plants and meat.
There are 4 types of animal feed:
- Carnivores: Organisms that depend on the meat of other organisms for their nutrients are called carnivores. Examples: tiger, lion, snake, wolf.
- Herbivores: Organisms that depend on plants for nutrients are called herbivores. Examples: cow, horse, deer, rabbit.
- Omnivores: Organisms that eat both plants and animals are called omnivores. Examples: bears, humans, crows, and chimpanzees

Give the students following questions and ask them to tell the answer individually.

- Define the Omnivores Animals.
